Bought this for me (age 50) and my two girls (8 & 14) because we love building sandcastles. It's brilliant!!!! 🤩🤩🤩The husband try to steal it. (He is an architect). My only suggestions are: It would be good if there was a bigger brick size; and if you sold an additional spatulas/scrapers and really good quality spades (surprisingly hard to get - we ended up buying kids metal gardening tools as the only sand spades we could get from the shops were cheap plastic ones that broke easily. We are going to buy another set as we do not like to share 🤣🤣. I will also stock up for birthday presents.
I do like this product, the packaging and colourways of the pieces are nice. Also my children had fun with them but I was surprised at how small each individual piece was. I think the brick shaped piece could especially be improved by making it much deeper as what it produces is a very shallow brick of sand. Also a second scraper would be a useful addition as having just one makes it difficult for two children to play with at the same time.
This product may be better for tiny toddler hands rather than older children.
Bought these sand/snow moulds for my 4 year old grandson. His father also seems very interested so I think there will be competition.. Great toy to stretch the imagination and will enable him to build something different to the regular sandcastle. He is also looking forward to the snow when he can build himself an igloo
I bought this for my son (5), looked like the perfect beach toy, Little did I know he wouldn't even use it. Not because he didn't want to (he was super eager), But because I was too busy building my castle. I told him to go do anything else but he was quite persistent. So, After burying him up to his neck and thus making him imobile, I got to work. After a few tests (finding the right water to sand ratio) I was off. Building first the Berlin wall around my sons head with peaked staples and all I got onto my castle. It went up one brick at a time. After 45 minutes the tide started to rise. I had to make a choice, Make a moat for my castle which I worked in for 45 minutes or my son... Let's just say I am the proud father of one large castle thanks to sandpal.
We’ve not used them in sand yet but they are beautifully designed and packaged and my kids are now wanting it to snow this Christmas, to try them out!
We have had so much creative fun, developing new ways to build with sand and Sand Pal.
I saw these online last summer and finally bought them for my kids. They are loving them and so am I. So much fun and easy to use. Cousins and friends kids will all be receiving for xmas this year.
Kids 7 & 5 love it. And parents do… Lots of fun. My son has said it’s his favourite toy. Would definitely recommend for sand play. Not tried with mud yet & will wait to see what winter brings for snow!
Once you get the water sand ratio right it’s terrific entertainment.
Quality toy, good sturdy build
Quick postage

I’m really glad I came across this product. My son loves it. It’s well made and even came in really well thought out packaging
My children absolutely love this! It is a top hit and we can make fantastic things with our sand! The bag is so so handy and easy to take with you on day trips
My whole family absolutely love sandpals. As a mum who does not like sand or the beach these were brilliant to keep me from getting bored at the beach. When I needed help with something the response was quick and issue resolved efficiently. Thank you. Recommend you to everyone.
An excellent addition to the kids sand toys, even my two year old wants to build instead of smashing the castles down, my four year old likes to build tall towers.
Every year we build sandcastles- but this kit has added a whole new dimension to our efforts. Our 7 year old and 9 year old love them. They are hardy tools that seem untreatable so far.. was nervous about the price- but once we got them they felt like good quality and reasonable value..
My kids struggle to find things to do on the beach and I struggle to to find something to keep them entertained. But this time was different! I loved making the bricks maybe even more than they did but they loved what I made for them! So many people walked past and asked about them and we made some new friends to!
My 4 year old special needs son loved these on our beach trip! He is very creative and great at engineering. He quickly figured out the process and was off on his own. A lot easier then the classic sand castle tools (which frustrated my 6 year old). There's no falling over castles. Just push it out and ta da!
Lovely set works a treat!
Great to have the bag to take everything back home in.everyone was looking at the kids castle and thinking wow 👍
Very happy 3 year old
Very Pleased;
my nephew is a specialist in heritage restoration, his two young girls are crafting enthusiasts.
I was worried that the 4th birthday unboxing 'wow' factor might be missing; no rainbows, unicorns or lurid colours
(thank goodness, I thought, no pink - but worried).
The kit is a huge success and I will supply photos when they complete their rendering of Dover Castle.
Which is their father's current project,
